Students are issued a certificate upon successful completion, which must accompany the applicant’s application when submitted to the New York State, Department of State. Once the application is submitted, the applicant has 90 days to complete the second training course, 16 Hour on the Job Training Course.  PLEASE NOTE: If you already held a NYS Security Guard License you DO NOT need to retake this course.  Please reapply for your Security Guard License using your ID #.
